FAQ
- Do you keep my emails?
- No. Your mailbox is read on your own device and the report is produced there. We never receive your mailbox, and we do not store your emails, the dates found, or the finished report. There is no database. After you pay, the emails that look like travel are sent to a language model to be read, and that is the only thing that leaves your device.
- Is my passport or card number sent anywhere?
- No. Before an email leaves your device, payment card numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, bank and IBAN details, National Insurance numbers and telephone numbers are found and replaced with a label. The model reads the booking, not the identity documents attached to it.
- Will it tell me whether I qualify?
- It gives you the numbers and the evidence behind them: every day counted, the dates they came from, and the email each date was read from, beside the figure the rule names. What it does not do is make the decision, because that decision is the Home Office’s. So you get the working, checkable line by line, rather than a yes or no you could not check. See a finished report.
- Do I have to connect my mailbox?
- Only if you want the mailbox read. If you already know your dates, the calculator counts them for free, with no account and no mailbox — the arithmetic runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. If you do want the mailbox read, you can connect an account or upload an export file instead. The free calculator.
- What if a date is wrong?
- Change it. Every absence in the report can be edited, confirmed or excluded, and the counts update as you do. That is the point of showing you the email behind each date: you can see what the date was read from and judge it yourself. Dates you set are marked as yours, so the finished report distinguishes them from the ones that were found.
- What if it misses a trip?
- Add it by hand — there is a control for that in the report. A reconstruction from a mailbox is only as complete as the mailbox: a trip booked by somebody else, paid in cash, or in an account you no longer have leaves no trace to find, so the report gives you a control to put it in yourself and counts it with the rest.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. We do refund if it is faulty or never arrives — if a report cannot be produced, if it does not do what this site says it does, or if you were charged the wrong amount. However, we do not refund a report simply because it was not what you hoped for: there is a complete sample report you can read before you pay, and the screen before payment tells you how many of your own emails look like travel, so nothing about what you are buying is a surprise. See a finished report.
- Which rules does it count by?
- 4: Schengen short stay, UK naturalisation under section 6(1) and under section 6(2), and continuous residence for settlement. Each has a page setting out what it counts and quoting the sentence its figure comes from, with a link to the official page. The rules, and their sources.

Still deciding?
Look at a finished report before you pay for one. It is built from an invented mailbox, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to upload.
